I don't know what edition we got it from, but we play it like this:
For skills 25% and below 96-00 is a fumble.
For skills 50% and below 97-00 is a fumble.
For skills 75% and below 98-00 is a fumble.
For skills above 75% 99-00 is a fumble.
00 is always catastrophically bad.

Re: I Need a new podcatcher
I dropped iTunes but not Apple. I am using the native Podcast iOS app on my iPad, and have bypassed the computer altogether. Works for me.

Re: Television
As for the best show on TV right now: Archer. No other show comes even anywhere close to Archer. Couldn't agree more. Each season I worry that the quality level will drop off, but it is still fantastic. I am also a sucker for the BBC Stuff from Morse to Doctor Who (new and classic). Justified was r...

Re: Cthulhu Dark game tomorrow?
Oh man, if I wasn't playing Call of Cthulhu tomorrow I totally would. I have been interested in Cthulhu Dark since the Borrowing Walmsley episode. If you don't get enough players for tomorrow, I would be interested on a different day.

Re: Favorite place to buy dice online?
I have a set of Q-workshop Elven dice that are just gorgeous, a bit hard to read in low light though. I wish I supported small businesses more, but have bought most of my dice through Amazon. They have chessex, q-workshop and game science dice, and since I have prime the shipping is often free. I ha...

Analogous Combat Skills?
So I was running a game where two of the players had hunting backgrounds, and thus had sunk a lot of points into the rifle skill. As the game worked out, they ended up acquiring a shotgun which meant that the player was rolling against the base skill, and missed quite a bit. From a role playing pers...

Thomas, that sounds excruciating. Good on you for keeping your promise though.
