Re: Your ideas for show topics
There is something very specific I wanted to know more about. I don't think it's a whole show topic but maybe a side topic. While making a scenario, I came across a task that needed to be done and I thought of making a new skill for it. But why not a stat x5 roll? I thought that was a bit too generi...

Re: 017 - The Witchfinder General
This is off topic sort of but I can't help it. Every time I see the heading Witchfinder General, I think of this one specific book: has anyone ever read Good Omens by Terry Pratchett/Neil Gaiman? I keep thinking of the character Newton Pulsifer (Did ye say LUCIFER???!!!) who joins this one old lonel...

Re: Boston Region 1922 - Boarding room / Apartment prices
Another brilliant post Logar. I did want to mention one tidbit if I may. You make mention that there was no blatant racist remarks in the newspaper aside from the odd call for attractive females. The main reason for this was that most African-Americans did not expect to find jobs or housing in the ...

Re: Is that tip / bribe too much? A consideration for keeper
Great post! I think this is really helpful, and I think it warrants a discussion on the show. So weird. I thought I put up a post to this and it just disappeared. Oh well. I was just saying that it would be great to see it discussed and that it was a pet peeve of mine that players oftentimes assume...

Re: Is that tip / bribe too much? A consideration for keeper
I agree. A very good topic and something I have wondered about as well. Sent from my ADR6425LVW using Tapatalk 2 Consider when you guys played the Isley Variant. You paid off that librarian what, $30? for the books from an estate. (Trying to crate them up, have them shipped I believe.) That would h...

Is that tip / bribe too much? A consideration for keepers.
Imagine this exchange: "I'm looking for Mrs. Kelly. Which room is she in?" "Umm, let me think..." (Vaguely holding out hand) "Oh." (Reaches into pocket) "Will this help?" "$600???" How much is too much for a tip/bribe? A consideration for keepers and players that bribing/tipping outside the normal r...

Re: Boston Region 1922 - Hotels / Prices
Really good info there man. Thanks for it. Sent from my ADR6425LVW using Tapatalk 2 Thank you! Take a look at the job/pay listing I put up and combine it with this and the rent prices and it begins to form a better rounded idea of money issues. Although, I have to say that thing at the bottom of yo...

Boston Region 1922 - Job listings/pay
This is a listing of some jobs directly from ads in the Boston Globe - year 1922. The purpose is to give you an idea of some common weekly pay. Combine this with rent prices and you begin to have a better understanding of some costs/payments. There are many times when I see a player just pull a doll...
