Ep.39 Haunted Houses and the Late Lamented Shed

Hi guys,

I've been delving into your back catalogue once again.

As you can probably tell, I am not going through in order. I basically pick ones that fit with the length of the run I'm doing :)

Some really good info about haunted houses/locations in this ep. Lots of good ideas and plot seeds to be had.

One thought on the subject.

One of my fave films that in no way appears to be a Haunted House at first glance, but is actually an almost classic Haunted House story, is Alien. The isolation, the antagonist moving through the locations in a manner not usually expected. Even a possession of sorts.

The Nostromo takes on an atmosphere (Excuse pun) very alike that of a classic location. The tension and pacing is almost identical.

I guess many other locations have been used; boats, submarines, railway stations. The list goes on.

Damn! You're making me think !

Oh that's an interesting point that I hadn't considered. May also be just what I need for a scenario I'm working on!

A twist could be to have the haunted place be somewhere lots of people come and go.
Where Yig doth tread no man treads tomorrow.
Reeking death, harvest of humans in hatred.
Suck on the shitbag of what you created, what we created.
Yig now incoming, Yig now is here.
Yig he makes everything impossibly queer.
