Dakhma aka Tower of Silence

Caution: Images of decaying corpses and sun bleached bones.

As a real world seed for anything horror, the Dakhma really is up there. When I first learned of these, if was after a game of telephone and some 10 years ago. An unknown tower, dead people of unknown origin, a pit full of ichor. My mind raced with thoughts of what might have lived in the ichor. Why where these people here? Who built it? But thanks to the interwebs, now we know that actual truth.

Re: Dakhma

This is one of a hundred reasons I think CoC needs a Secrets of India book. I know there is Mysteries of the Raj, which covers it slightly, and Keeper Jon's Timeless Sands of India. But this area really needs to have much better coverage than it has.
